Going from amateur runner to first British finisher at the SimplyHealth Great North Run in less than 2 years.
Hayley Carruthers shot onto the running stage last year and she’s already gained her first England vest. Runners World describe her tremendous progress as a ‘meteoric climb to the top’. Supported by her coach, Dan Robinson, Hayley’s work ethic and dedication is the reason for her success.
On the 12th of January at the Start Fitness Newcastle store, they’re offering a chance for you to meet Hayley and listen to her inspiring story so far. It’s the perfect opportunity to discuss training, racing and what it’s like to compete at an international level. You can learn new training techniques, gain unique professional insight and get inspired by one of the most talked about up and coming long distance athletes of the moment.
They’ll be showcasing the all-new Saucony Kinvara 10 too which Hayley wears during her training! So it’s also the perfect opportunity to get a professional opinion of this new 2019 shoe.
