Our FOURTH year at Beamish Hall for this popular 10k run and 2k for under 16’s. A varied course on paths, trails, woodland and around the grounds there’s something for everyone. With a mile or two in Hedley Hall Woodland and a few technical sections in Beamish Woods the run then finishes with a flat run back to the magnificent hotel grounds.
All 10k finishers will get some Wild Deer Merchandise, a bacon sarnie or alternative and a tea/coffee! Generous we know! All runners in the 2k will get a Wild Deer kids T-shirt, snacks and a soft drink. Please note there are no medals for this event.

We are looking forward to welcoming you to the GMTR Multi Terrain Race again this year.  For those who have made this a regular haunt – we look forward to seeing you again.  You can enter the race NOW via the RunBritain website..  For those who have yet to try us out – then take a look at the pictures ‘and comments’ from 2019.   Check out the photo gallery on google.
Now in it’s 8th year, this challenging course takes in some of the toughest climbs and best views in the area, as you work your way up back roads, farmers’ fields, fords, moors and woodland – adjacent to the Swinton Estate near Masham.
We are a charity – so you won’t find any swanky gifts or flash prizes for entering our race.  But we do want to recognise your support, so our kind sponsors donate a range of modest prizes.  Please note this years prizes are yet to be determined.
As a community run charity, we want to make our events accessible to all, so we keep our entry costs low.  Entry is just £14 for affiliated and £15 for non affiliated members.  Online entries close on 1st October.  If the race is not full, then you may be able to enter on the day with a credit or debit card, for £16 – but you will have to register before 10am.

A 13K multi terrain undulating race with a mix of road, track and grass. Up and around the village of Grewelthorpe in the AONB of North Yorkshire. All runners welcome, but must be over 16 to enter.  This extremely popular multi terrain race has something for everyone, it meanders through the North Yorkshire countryside, along woodland paths and onto open roads.  £15 for affiliated members.  Online entries close on 1st October

All entrants will have a warm welcome and free soup, flapjack and banana's at the end of the race.  Small Prizes of cash will be awarded from our Race Sponsors for fastest in each class and bottles of wine for the fastest teams.
