The Great Skipton Santa Fun Run is a charity run and walk organised by The Rotary Club of Skipton Craven. Starting at 1100 on Sunday 27th November 2022, on Skipton High Street, this is a precursor to the Christmas Lights switch on later on in the day. The event takes place with the support of Skipton Town Council.
In addition to many of the runners’ own charities, the main beneficiaries this year will be Sue Ryder Manorlands, local Skipton charities and Rotary charities. The run follows a 5km course around Skipton, through Aireville Park and Skipton Woods. A shorter (3km) walkers and wheelchair friendly route, again starting on the High Street, takes in a circuit of Aireville Park. Click here for more details

Entries are now flying in for the second fastest race in the UK and the biggest endurance event in Derby - the Available Car Derby 10 Mile starting and finishing at Derby Arena at 10am on Sunday 20th November.
The race is open to everyone aged 17 years and over. All runners will receive a race t-shirt and finisher medal. We are delighted to host the Midland Counties Athletics Association 10 Mile Championships at this year’s race. Click here for more details.  The Heaton Harriers Memorial Road Races take place on a traffic-free course on footpaths around Newcastle’s Town Moor. The 10k race will Incorporate the 2022 North Eastern Counties Athletics Association and the North East Masters Athletics Association Men’s and Women’s 10K Road Racing Championships.
