You can be part of a team, with great support being given by all the athletes participating in the match, not just your own team members - these matches have a really nice atmosphere of friendly competition. Our division of the league (3E) consists of the following teams:- Chester le Street, New Marske Harriers, South Shields/Birtley AC, North Shields Poly, Richmond & Zetland, and Tynedale Harriers.
As we are a composite team with South Shields, you may not be able to compete in every one of your events, but every effort will be made to match athletes to their chosen event whenever possible. If you'd like to take part, please either see Val at the club or email
All matches start at 11.15am but please arrive at least half an hour earlier to allow coaches to decide on teams.
