Entries for this event are available on our club store page - please read entry conditions carefully before submitting payment. All athletes will be listed on our noticeboard page, where the final team selection will be displayed after closing. Members will be informed after the closing date if they have been selected (either by their coach or by email/text), and any refunds will also be made then.

There are three different events:-

Young Athletes Road Relay

• ​11.30 Under 13 Boys 3 x 3100 metres - aged 11-12 & under 13 on 1st September 2022
• 11.35 Under 13 Girls 3 x 3100 metres - aged 11-12 & under 13 on 1st September 2022
• 12.15 Under 15 Boys 3 x 3100 metres - aged 13-14 & under 15 on 1st September 2022
• 12.20 Under 15 Girls 3 x 3100 metres - aged 13-14 & under 15 on 1st September 2022
• 13.00 Under 17 Men 3 x 3700 metres - aged 15-16 & under 17 on 1st September 2022
• 13.05 Under 17 Women 3 x 3700 metres - aged 15-16 & under 17 on 1st September 2022 

Women's 4 Stage Road Relay

• Minimum age: 17 and over at midnight 31st August / 1st September 2022

Men's 6 Stage Road Relay

• ​Minimum age: 17 and over at midnight 31st August / 1st September 2022

This traditional early opening to the XC season will be taking place at Farringdon on Saturday 3rd September. This event has always been well attended by Birtley AC athletes, and full details are shown below.

Junior athletes run individually - click on the image below to go to the entry page if you would like to take part - £4 per athlete.

Senior athletes take part in a relay event - either as teams of 3 (women) or 4 (men). If you are interested in competing, you'll need to appoint a member of your team to make the payment for the whole team (£22 for 4 leg men's race, £20 for 3 leg women's race) - click on the image below to go to the entry page.
