North East Youth Development League (NEYDL) 2022 - Last match of the season, don't miss it!

The final match of the NEYDL season will take place at Churchill Playing Fields on Sunday July 17th. Please add your names to the list below if you wish to participate. 

Message from Gary Curtis:-
Hello all, This is to let all U13-U17 athletes know that the NEYDL season starts at Monkton Stadium on 24/4. You may not be aware that Birtley are in a composite team with Tyne Bridge, so this means in field events where there is a maximum of 4 athletes per team, it would be 2 from us and 2 from Tyne Bridge, and where there are spaces we can try and fill them. On the track there is no limit to numbers. In all events the first 2 athletes in each team score points so it is better for the team to have athletes in as many different events as possible. Each athlete can do 3 events plus the relay. The team also need Officials and Volunteers as each team must provide 1 Track judge, 1 Timekeeper and 4 field officials, we as a team do have qualified officials to run the events but as a development league why don't you shout up and get involved. Please, when you have a minute have a look at the new NEYDL website and familiarise yourself with timetables and what it is all about (these are also shown at the bottom of this page). 
And as an added bonus its all paid for by your club, so WHY don't you come and have go.
