Inter-league match Sunday 1st September Cudworth Dorothy Hyman Sports Centre
This final fixture is the inter-league match against Yorkshire - the top 3 athletes in each event will automatically be selected to represent the NEYDL, and transport will be provided by the league.
The first event of these matches is at 11.30am (hammer) and a full timetable is shown below. You can compete in the league from U17 and these matches are an ideal opportunity to have a go at a discipline you may not have previously tried. You can be part of a team, with great support being given by all the athletes participating in the match, not just your own team members - these matches have a really nice atmosphere of friendly competition. Our division of the league (3E) consists of the following teams:- Chester le Street, New Marske Harriers, South Shields/Birtley AC, North Shields Poly, Richmond & Zetland, and Tynedale Harriers.
As we are a composite team with South Shields, you may not be able to compete in every one of your events, but every effort will be made to match athletes to their chosen event whenever possible. If you'd like to take part, please add your name to this online list. A list of athletes will be shown on our club noticboard page.
